A little controversy from time to time is enjoyable.
For the record, I liked John's book and his insights. To call him a "fraud" is simply not appropriate. There are a lot of bad, bad books and authors out there, John's not one of them.

Ed Thorp incidentally sent me an e-mail recently stating he thought my books were "well-written and entertaining". Faint praise perhaps, but it made me remember why I do all this.
Not that I am anybody famous or anything, but I also enjoyed your
book. However, I cheated and read it in one setting at Barnes & Noble (I might buy it and look over some of the more complicated techniques). But anyway, i have always enjoyed your posts and I am always looking for some information you might give away about your current advantage techniques (and you do sometimes, of course everyone always believes it as nonsense). If I were to have questions, would e-mail be appropriate.

Heh heh heh-I am sure no one has ever done anything so devious as this before! Seriously, its probably a good idea to have a grounding in advantage play concepts before attempting the complicated stuff.
