If you are familiar with being a banker in California cardrooms, you may be able to help me.
If I put up $100 as a banker, what is my expected win? Initially, I thought that it was simply 1.30% (house edge) times $100 or $1.30. But, if the first hand results in a push, you would have action on the second hand, and if the second hand results in a push, you would have action on the third hand, etc. So, that would make the expected win slightly higher. My guess is about $2.20.
Bonus question, because of the rule described above, when is it not profitable to let someone else kum-kum with you? For example, if I put up $100 as a banker and there are $600 in bets, how much should I allow the other players to kum-kum with me?
