Thorp, author of the 1962 best seller, Beat the Dealer. Says Barnett, "The casinos are simply doing what all corporations have done since the beginning of time�protecting their assets. It�s troublemakers like Ed Thorp who have caused all of these problems for players. And since he personally has more money than all of the major casino corporations combined, we�re going after him."
