How to get advantage from other players

The followings are what I usually do:

On blackjack,
Buy his BJ on even money when dealer showing Ace
Buy his surrender
Double down for him, or share his doubling down
Ask someone to split my hand, such as 8,8 against 9

Accept tie bet on baccarat

In Stud Poker, take over the give up

Any more?

More ways to gain an edge from other players:

You can by a player's 19 vs. 10 up (8-7 favorite), since most players suffer from "10 in the hole phobia".

You can even pay a small bonus to the player as an incentive, such as $26 for a $25 nineteen, or $105 for a $100 nineteen.
You can get somebody to take one of your split cards that looks like an advantage but isn't - such as 7/7 vs. 2 up (5-4 underdog).

You can jump in on several improper double downs which are improper only because they win less money than doubling, but still win money, such as with 11 vs. an Ace up, 9 vs. a 7 up, 8 vs. a 6 up, etc.

You can pay a small bonus on a player's blackjack against an Ace, such as $101 for a $100 blackjack, but that could draw unwanted attention for two reasons: A) showing that you're aware even money is a bad bet; 2) horning in on the house's action.

Just curious - 1) Does the pit ever hassle you about this, saying "You can't do that" and do you have to explain these maneuvers much to other players, and do they normally accept or decline?

but in BJ, one- or two-deck, you can get a slight advantage late in the pack by just looking at the player(s) cards on either side of you before making your playing decision based on your own count.

Dear Rambler, As long as my hand interaction play was cut and dried, I never none of them were ever stifled by the pit. Some plays that could cause problems are: doubling for somebody with the likes of A/2 vs. 6, because if he catches an Ace, deuce, 3 or 4 he'd probably want a second hit - but couldn't have one. Same story with 9 against a 3 - and the player catches a deuce or 3.

If your selected interaction play is clean, I don't think you'll have a problem with it.

Some players would give up their hands
when they feel they will lose, even they
have a pair.
Then I will say "You have a pair, let me

7up, Thank you for clarifying this for me. I'd thought you meant taking over a hand which was going to be tossed in but wasn't sure. I do have two other questions for you. The first is why would you want to be in the pot with only a small pair? The second is what casino/card room allows you to play another person's hand? Hmmm, what do you expect to get, dueces down? I'd love to have to across from me. There's so many things wrong with that strategy i don't even know where to begin. Oh, maybe here,IF YOU KNOW THE PERSON HAS DUECES, SO DO YOUR OPPONENTS!

the ones where the person is doubling for less. The other player isnt harmed when you throw over a couple chips to complete his double down.
