I've been playing BJ about 10 years. I usually don't offer advice at tables but give "the Book" answers when asked. Also I sometimes play with friends who ask me what to do frequently.
If I've been at a table for a long time, it's clear I know what I'm doing. I'll remind my friends never to buy insurance, etc.
But of course next thing you know the count is high and I'm insuring a 14 with a $500 bet. Or I'm staying on 12 against a 2. Usually I mutter something like "I've just got a feeling she's got it" or whatever.
Anyone else encounter this problem? I realize I 100% bring it on myself by talking in the first place. I like chatting about the game way too much, even when I'm sitting at the table.
