Haven't been on the site for quite awhile but have lurked at times. Skipped my annual trip to Vegas last year but two years ago the BJ was definitely down with 6:5 BJ and CSMs.
Just completed a recent business trip there where BJ was not the priority so didn't bring my usual bankroll. Therefore, spent two days looking on the strip for $10 and $15 minimum shoe games with 3:2 BJ. It was pretty much futile and even chatted with some pit bosses and dealers who couldn't believe so many players accepted 6:5 BJ. And BJ Switch and free (double) bet. Obviously, if you are not an AP and you come to LV to play BJ, you play whatever game is available.
Despite all I know, I still played the 6:5 game and for bankroll reasons, didn't use my usual spread. Pretty much 4:1.
The result? Won 50 units in just a few hours a play.
Of course, I was lucky but it still felt good.
Back to my headline: I hardly got any blackjacks so 6:5 didn't hut me that much.
