How much should one tip for drinks?

Would it depend on how much you've got on the table or do most people tips more or less the same. I mean, if you've got a pile of blacks on the table and you give the waitress a red or a couple of silver, she's gonna think you're a cheapskate. But would she really deserve $25 just because you have lots money? If you are only betting silver and red and then you tip a red, your could be giving up your profit for the hour. So how much should you tip for drinks without giving up too much money or making the waitress think you are stingy??

Of course when you are playing bj you do not want to drink so I guess nobody really has this problem, but just in case...

A single dollar slot coin per drink has always been appreciated by professional waitresses if given with courtesy. Some day that will change, but not yet.

I tip one dollar for booze, which I rarely indulge in, and $.50 for soft drinks, because I drink them a lot. No one has ever complained about it, at least in my presence, and I have always gotten good service, at least at those casinos that give good service in the first place.

Oldest one in the book: When you place your order, ask for two drinks. Some casinos have no problem with twofers, some say " only one glass on the table at a time", in which case I hold one in my hand until done. A few tight-ass joints will only allow one drink per go-round.

You also can retain your dignity, and the waitresses, by tipping the odd fifty-cent piece you may win on an odd blackjack bet. I have found cocktail waitresses are the easiest to please, vs. bellman,waiters, valets, etc.

If you feel bad tipping 50 cents, rathole all of your silver.
when she comes, act like your fishing around the pockets for a silver dollar, then pull out the silver like that is all you found.
Ratholing the silver also minimizes tipping pressure for dealer if done right. Heck, there are ways of tipping 0 and not looking bad if done right and you are that cheap or really can't afford it. BTW, cocktail waitresses make good money.

As a advantage player, i gotta tip as little as i can, and do it in such a way that i am still liked where i need to be liked. That maybe nothing at times and once in a while it may be as high as a few bucks or rarely a $5. But that's just me. BTW, don't tip more cause she's hot and you wanna get a date, unless you like pulling the gold-digging types.
