Quarter Tables
Now, in fact these are quarter tables.
In Nevada, the casinos understand that Time in Money. The more rounds per hour the better. This is one thing that we see eye to eye on.
So in most Nevada casinos that I play in, if you buy in for a $100, the dealer will say Cash $100 and wait for a few seconds. If there is no response, they will go on and change it. Next time the floor comes by, they will say First base bought in for $100, third base bough in for $300, .
For some reason, this type of behavior does not exist in the boondocks. I am not sure why. But there the dealers cant do anything without an OK form the floor.
Here is an example. I was playing a quarter table last week. Everyone was playing green, except one guy who was betting black on 2 spots. Betting black every round.
Dealer calls Black in Action at the start of the Shoe. Guy wins, and the dealer says Two blacks going out. Now he waits for the floor to come over and see the two blacks going out. House wins the next round or so. Then the guy wins 1 spot and loses the other. Dealer collects one bet, and hollers one bad going out. We wait a few moments, and the floor says OK. Guy wins another bet, and Two blacks going out. Finally, the floor notices that only guy is betting black and he tells the dealer If he is the only guy that your paying in black, just go ahead!
Now in some casinos, they dont have tot ell the dealers that.
