How is Rick 'Night Train' Blaine for an author?

I saw on rge21.com that he wrote the book "Blackjack Blueprint: How to Operate a Blackjack Team by Rick 'Night Train' Blaine". Its 45 pages and $40 bucks. The summary basically said it was about how to play on teams, his experience and how to manage teams all on team play.
Is it any good? For almost a buck a page there better be alot of words on one page and it better give lots of info. does it?
Also George C's "Shuffle tracking for beginers" is also a buck a page, 40 pages, $40. Is that worth it too?

If you are putting a blackjack team together, Blaine's book contains a lot of useful info that you will not find anywhere else. The book is not about playing blackjack; it is about the mechanics of operating a successful team. If you are not planning on putting a blackjack team together, the book would be a waste of money.

Likewise, when one starts researching shuffle tracking, it becomes almost immediately apparent that little has been written on the subject.

These books are expensive because they are aimed at a very small market. The publishers do not anticipate selling a huge number of copies.

It is hard to put a price on information. Considering that the Blaine book could help a team organizer avoid mistakes that could potentially cost thousands of dollars, and that shuffle tracking is a skill that that could potentially earn thousands of dollars, the books would appear to be reasonably priced.

Most complete book out on team play available. Many good tidbits of information and interesting reading. If you check bj21 they may offer at discount, not sure. I purchased mine from rge21.

George C. book is easy to read, excellent on s/f. again at the price, bj21 may offer at discount.

As someone who ran a BJ team for a year before I ever read Blaine's book, I would have to say that it is near worthless. Maybe I figured out all this stuff independently, but I must say that I was looking for a more sophisticated treatment than Blaine gives. My team manual, 5 pages long, answers what I think are important concerns that Blaine doesn't touch. I think the book is a waste of time to read.

Let me give you an example. Blackjack teams have to make some kind of decision about how they are going to compensate people -- on the basis of wins vs. on the basis of hours played. I expected at least some analysis of arguably THE most crucial question in team blackjack from the book. Blaine has no discussion of it!
