Just wondering.....
I've always been a bit of a Visual Mathematician so always been attracted to the game. Got started at 16 in Primm (On the way to Vegas :D) back in 1990. I naturally started with Martingale combined with an up progression really similar to Dahls. Suprisingly it worked for quite a while without any huge losses but yes eventually it did catch up to me. From there it went to HiLo but I wasnt much of a reader so I never did figure out spreads correctly. Still though, games then were very friendly and HiLo was a huge advantage compared to now. I did well enough to almost put my way through college but hit a huge loosing streak when I was 22 that put me out of commission... Think I lost my bankroll 3 times in a month. Only played once in the last 10 years but I may come back just for the challenge.
In addition to your stories, I'd really like to hear what to expect if I do come back. Conditions look almost ridiculous now but I'm really interested in how much the eye in the sky and AP recognition has changed. I'm planning on testing out the Wynn, Mirage, Venetian, and my old stopping grounds at Ceasars and downtown. Is there any place I should avoid or any overcritical pit bosses/security? Any help and or your stories would be much appreciated...
