If the dealer checks for BJ and you know what the card because of the reader error or if you see it then what is the BS for it?
...because the rules are different. Just one obvious example: In double exposure you lose ties, so BS for a hand like hard 20 vs. dealer's 20 is to HIT, and hope for an ace. If you just glimpsed the hole card in regular blackjack with the same two hands, you would of course STAND and be happy with the push. I recall that Million Dollar Blackjack has a good discussion of hole card basic strategy.
