Hole card play is lucrative play that can be quite fragile. It is unlikely that you will get a response on a public board. Remember that casino personnel read these boards, too. Educating the bad guys on things so specific is not wise. Once your game has developed to the point where you are ready for hole card play, the answers to your question will become obvious to you.
I usually lay the sideview mirror from my first car, a '48 Roadmaster, on the table as my "lucky piece". I find the expander captures the index in a most gratifying manner.
This is old stuff the casinos already know.
If thereis not a mecanical device on the table to prevent the dealer from bending the Ace; which is lucrative for us players in cutting to the Ace. One can usually asume with great accuracy, that if a dealer looks twice or is somewhat apprehensive about their hole card under a 'ten up', it's generally a FOUR(Chinesse Ace); a hopeful bust hand for the dealer.
