Hit me with your best shot

What's the best line you've ever used when someone does something incredibly stupid at the blackjack table that has cost you a lot of money? (I know, mistakes help us as much as they hurt us but that doesn't take the sting away from losing a very big hand).

The best I could do recently was "you're a fucking asshole." It felt good but I would have liked to be a little more creative. The guy didn't say a word back.

Is it worth to risk a life over a game? A cursing player was stabbed to death recently. "Disrespectful" was the reason for the killing. Some degenerated gamblers are really crazy. If the suicidal crazy ones can jump off a parking deck, they surely will kill a player without a really good reason. I once was young and had done stupid things, but now I know better to keep my mouth shut while gambling. Just my 2 cents.

We need to recognize that with the downturn in the casino business, many of the low-level employees we typically interact with (dealers, etc.) could be more desperate than usual. They therefore might do things to us (or anyone else) that they otherwise might not do. "Desperate people do desperate things." I have no specifics, just a general uneasiness. It wouldn't surprise me if some casino employee or desperate degenerate gambler snaps and "goes postal." We need to be extra careful not to be the one who got the person who is on the edge sufficiently upset to go berserk.

I have to admit that the money is not worth my life and all of your points are good ones. However, I can't be the only one who has lost a lot of money due to a particularly stupid move (I know mistakes can help me too) and was mad about it. Doesn't anyone have something clever to say in a situation like this? Or do you just sit there with a smile on your face and just play the next hand or move to another table?

Of course this doesn't work if you are in LV ,but I have often told players that if they are willing to play with such great ability ,I have the phone number of a casino host in LV that may be willing to offer them free airfare and rooms . Actually have had one ask for the number , which put me on the spot .
Of course whenever they split 2Ks , 2Qs etc. and receive a different 10 value card ,I am usually quick to mention that those may also be split .Usually that gets a "really, can I ?" from the player and a smirk from the dealer .

If I'm in LV, I can tell them I have a host in the beautiful oceanside mecca of Atlantic City they can call. Thanks.

I don't pay attention to how ploppies play, other than to count their cards. Even if I happen to notice a particularly stupid play, I generally just ignore it, unless I think I can run the ploppy off the table by being rude. In such a case, a typical comment is something like, "Now I have finally seen everything. Someone actually losing on purpose. Why not just hand the casino your money so you can go do something else?"

As always, you're the voice of reason. I wish I could bring the short clip from Vegas Vacation when dealer Shawn Wallace says to Chevy Chase: why don't I just take your money (or maybe half of it), take you in the back, kick you in the balls and call it a day. How the movie didn't win an Academy Award, I'll never know. Thanks again.
