John, apparently all guests of members now have to produce ID but only on first entry.
That is not quite universal yet. The ID checks are fortunately pretty cursory at most places which do this.
Result even more data held on players, one theory maybe that when membership no longer becomes mandatory, those casinos that choose can continue with the membership system. As we know there are few groups owning the majority of clubs, can't see that changing as although it will be easier to open casinos, it will not be viable from a financial standpoint. Regards BB.
It does look like membership is being phased out, not a good thing in my view. Thanks for your perspective on this, its easy to grope the wrong of the elephant with this sort of thing.
