Help! Resorts in Vegas?

Can you guys give me any info on the resorts listed below? The only 2 I'm familiar with are the Lady Luck and I believe The Jockey Club is where Ken Uston and his teams liked to hang out. I'm not concerned with the price of any of these places only the accomodations and BJ conditions. Also my wife will be with me so it has to be a decent place. Thanks in advance.

LL is a "time-share" scam.

I suspect most of the rest are in the same category. And, most of the "RESORTS" are off the beaten path, i.e., $40. Cab-fare to get you to where you REALLY want to go.

Certainly, for ONLY $5-10K, plus $800+ YEARLY Maintence fee you can get a FREE week/year, and sell/rent/trade/blah, blah, blah.

And don't forget your FREE Gift!

CONVERSELY, if you bet mostly Green as a BS-BJ Player, you will get the same treatment, plus FB (Food and Beverage). As a AP/CC, you will usually get same, plus PROFITS!, and at the GC level.

Also, if you have a female partner, she WILL NOT CONSIDER a week in a Room/Condo/Unit to be a Vacation if she still has to cook/clean/etc.

IMHO, there are only 2 times that these "Resort/Time-Shares" are a GREAT DEAL:
---1. When you own it.
---2. When you are a Salesperson for it.

why on earth would you pay for anything in Las Vegas....especially a place to sleep.

That's why I'm trying to determine which would be the best. We will also be eating free (comps) so any opinions?

If you are being offered rooms to listen to a time share pitch, beware. They are like bulldogs. Once they get you in their grip, they will not let go easily. When they make their pitch, do two things.

1. Find fault with any condo they show you, even if you actually believe it is great. Do not let them know you like it.

2. Find fault with the location. You don't gamble, you don't like Vegas, it's too hot, etc.

3. Never, ever tell them you can't afford it or it is too much money. Tell them you have the money, in fact, you could write a check today if you wanted to, but you just don't want to do it.

They will have counter arguments to the first two, such as "let us show you something better," or, "we can set you up in another location." But they can't handle the last one. They will eventually become offended and huffy. Don't sweat it.

The cost of time shares sold like this is highly inflated. If you really want a time share, you can buy one from someone who bought at the inflated price, decided it wasn't worth it and is now desperate to get rid of it even at a loss.

Then again, maybe I'm all wet and you aren't being offered a time share sales pitch deal. :-)

It's too late. I bought about 8 years ago, the worst purchase I've ever made in my life. So now I trade my week at my timeshare and go some place else.
