I have been busting alot on 12 what is the bust rate and also I have play every day for the last week.I have gotten 12 aces when doubling down on an 11. I also notice that the dealer did as well. Someone at one of the tables said that doubling on a ten is better than an ace is this true.

In a week of play, constituting thousands of hands, you somehow kept track of this meaningless figure? How? Why? How many tens did you get when doubling down on an 11? Maybe about four times the number of Aces?

Please rephrase the question; as written, it makes no sense. As a general rule, you can safely ignore anything anyone else says at the table, including the dealer.

Doubling on 10 vs 11

Please note that when doubling on 11, getting an ace, two, three, four, and five are all the same - you would need dealer to bust for you to win.

I think you mean better than doubling on 11. This is a common fallacy. Compare the results based on your hit card and tell me which you prefer:

Note that you 4 times more likely to get 21 doubling on 11 than on 10. You are 4 times mores likely to get 20 doubling on 10 than on 11. All other results are equally likely. Which do you prefer 20 or 21?

(Of course, these ratios are based on an infinite deck, but I think this is sufficient to illustrates the point -- you are more likely to get to 21 doubling on 11 than on 10.)

According to your own lists, doubling on 10 gives you an average result of 17.31, while doubling on 11 yields a 17.54 average.

Ergo, there is no question about which is the stronger play.
