Help meeting my goal

I'm prepared for the abuse I will probably get for this post but also figure I'll get a few helpful responses.

My goal is to play the rest of my life on my $10000 bankroll and still get the comps I'm used to. There, I've said it, go ahead and let me have it. I understand that for some of you AP is your livelihood. It's not mine. I play because I love to play. That being said I don't want to replace my bankroll every few months. I played BJ for a long time before I decided to learn to count. Since I have a limited number of stores near my home the employees (both dealers and pit bosses) knew me well when I was just a BS (no pun intended) player. The places I visit in Vegas also knew me well before and treat me well. They comp me suites, food and limos. On recent trips the pit closed an empty carnival game table and opened a BJ table for me. Granted these are lower end properties but I've found decent games there. If the games were bad I wouldn't be there. The biggest advantage I've found with my situation is that I can get away with a decent spread with no heat at all AND play as long as I want.

So there has to be a question in all of this right? How do I kwwp my bets up and reduce my RoR? It seems like everything I've read about reducing it is either drop your bet or find better games. Are there any other options? Any additional thoughts on how I can reach my goal?

Wonging will lower your ROR considerably. Or say, finding excuses to leave in the middle of a deck. Say you are playing 6 deck and the count goes negative, tell the dealer that you have to go to the rest room. Time it just right if you can and be ready for the next shoe. You just lowered your ROR if you do that. Not sure if cell phones are still allowed in casinos, but act like you are taking a call on your phone.

I think to be a good card counter, you have to be willing to be an a-hole. The best card counters like to really stick it to the casino. They watch every card. Make every calculation and do everything in their power to increase their winrate. That was me when I first started card counting. After I had made $10000 in the first 2 months, I started getting soft. I stopped wonging. Starting sitting down at the table through negative counts. I started buying into my own hype.

You have to realize that once you started card counting. You will likely make enemies with all those pit bosses. I never made one friend in all my card counting journies. All the pit bosses hated me. That's how I knew I was doing good.

Find a good double deck game on or off the strip and spread 2x$10-2x$90. Your 10K bank has a 5% risk of ruin if you put all winnings back into the bank and spend nothing. If getting comps is your goal you may have to bet more and risk going bust, especially if you plan to play a lot of hours each year.

Comps and winning money aren't always compatible at lower stakes. Spread your play around and rely on future mail for room offers. betting to 2x$90 should get you plenty of meals at buffets and coffee shops but don't expect serious comps or rooms at the Mirage or higher end places.
