Help for a noob - How would you play this hand.
Hi All,
New to the forums here and to "serious blackjack." For now, I'm using a simple Hi-Low count,
I was at a small Colorado casino a few nights ago.
6-deck, penetration down to about 1 deck left in shoe
DDAS,
No surrender
4 players, I'm at 3rd base
Last hand before re-shuffle.
The true count was a "bullish" +9, the highest I've seen in my couple of months of play. I have a bit more than my maximum bet out (due to roudning up), I get 8-8, dealer has 10 up.
Hit?
Split?
Stand?
Obviously with the true count that high, no way I'm gonna hit.
So, would you stand or split 8-8 vs. 10 at +9?
