I'm sure some of it was true, but had a lot cliches, like the author had read many bj counting books.
...Because it has so much stylistic embellishment it is not possible to say what is and is not true. It reads like a pitch for a film deal.
I agree it is totally not a reference book, and if anyone tries to emulate the stories in this book they are most likely in for a shock.
It is a very glamorized version of Team bj play. But I enjoyed the read, it is short and I burned through it in 3 hours in an airport...$19.99 for a quick read...I might wait for the paperback.
I thought the author really stretched the meaning of non-fiction in the MIT account. My book was fiction but his seemed far more fanciful and there were several incidents that were absurd fabrications IMHO.
It is a fun read I guess.
It has been commented on that the book reads like a movie....
