it was reported that personal information was being posted on the site by a whacko poster. Additionally, "other" information was being posted about sensitive issues...sensitive enough for SW and David to temporarily shut down Free quickly and regroup.
You will also notice the absence of a few posters who had previously enjoyed having a field day here with their lunacy. A few who come to mind are Frank Stanton, PUIU and Clark Cant.
While passwords are now required, there is no moderator. The password allows David/Al/SW to nuke you permanently (great move!!) from the board should you become extrememly boorish. Or, in other words, a major pain in the ass. I think Frank may have received this award prior to his expulsion, summa cum laude!

You did that VERY well, LOL, concise is your middle name.
In a way, I am glad because I was getting some VERY strange emails from total strangers and it spoiled my fun of being able to learn from you experienced players.
I am just now mastering basic strategy. I am determined to be one of those who consistently uses it 100% of the time, and I am also beginning the KO method of learning to count, the short version, obviously I am not good enough to remember the name of it.
I can tell you one thing: deep nights in a hospital, there ARE some nurses who got a kick out of my flashcards for Basic Strategy. I felt they would do me more good than a book!
I am SO glad to be home to my puter so I can go back to practicing on the strategy engine, which someone here also steered me to.
I hope you all continue your patience. You turned me from a totally ignorant ploppie to a semi-literate one at least. Hugs to you all!

These are cheaper than buying software,but the best way topractise is with a real deck of cards,even better if you have someone to act as dealer.
