I am going to Vegas (Mirage)in 3 weeks with my wife and 2 other couples. Will be more social gambling than serious counting. I am just a red chip player and prefer sd & dd. I know Imperial Palace used to have a lot of low limit dd. Do they still and are the games at least decent? Is Horseshoe any good with the new ownership? Is El Cortez still the same?

I have access to CBJN, but I respect the owners of this site and their opinion too much to divulge their information. However, I saw on the Travel Channel (or Vegas Channel on Sunday) that the off-strip casino the Orleans has alot of double deck and after a recent trip to Vegas I can say El Cortez hasn't changed. I'll leave the mystery of the Imperial Palace up to you, and I don't know that I've ever even been in it.

Downtown casinos. A lot of them, especially Fitz, have good DD games with decent pen if you get the right dealer. Plus a lot of slow break-ins.
