I've always "known" that an Ace off the top is a 52% advantage (can't remember where I got that from) and I always thought a 10 off the top was a 13% advantage, but I'm starting to doubt that figure. Can anyone confirm the exact figures for me for sure?
By "off the top" I mean that you know for certain that you are getting that card as your first card and the count is neutral.

if anyone knows the off the top disadvantages for 9, 8, 7, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 5 that would be good too. (I think I've got those in the right order)
I've always thought a 9 was a slight disadvantage, but never been sure.

...posted some figures at BJMath that should reassure you (link below).
Surprisingly, the ordering from most to least favourable is A, T, 9, 8, 2, 3, 4, 7, 5, 6.
...although it is easy to be wise after the event.
A 7 off the top gives rise to a high probability of a 17, which is a really crap hand of course.
I can relate it to this little known BJ fact: the dealer is most likely to make 21 (that's 21 not BJ) off a 2 upcard and least likely off a 9 upcard.
I suppose inital upcards of 2 thru 6 give rise to more multiple card combinations that add up to 20 and 21 then an upcard of 7.

I must be having brain fuzzout today.
Of course the dealer is least likely to make a 21 (not BJ) from a 10 upcard, just under 4% chance.
The 9 is the most favourable upcard to be looking at if you have drawn out to 21 (in places where there's no hole card and the dealer can still crack a snapper on you backwards from paint).
