Getting room offers where you're not welcome

I used to count a great deal but since have learned poker and rarely play BJ
ON my last Vegas trip I was playing at the plaza when I saw a fax being sent to the pit boss with my picture on it.I got up and left. A few days later I was downtown and tried to see what I had on my comp card there and was basically given the run around and got nothing. Clearly Im not welcome back there and I really dont care. I used to be very careful, but since I went to Vegas primarily for poker I wanted to play as much BJ as possible with no cover and after that I would play poker.
Here is the odd thing. I keep getting offers int he mail for free rooms. What am i to make of this?

Take the free rooms. After awhile, the mailers will stop. Use them while you're still getting them. Once you've checked in, if you avoid the pit, it's unlikely you'll have any problems. The worse that's likely to happen is you'll have to change hotels during your stay if the casino gets nasty and evicts you.

As a safety precaution, and for evidence if you end up suing the casino because a vindictive casino employee falsely claims you were previously trespassed, make three copies of the offer before leaving home. Keep one copy at home. Keep the original offer in your car, unless you have to surrender it at check-in. Keep a photocopy of it on your person at all times. If you have to surrender the original, keep one photocopy in your car and another on your person.

They decided they actually love you and really want you to come back. They were wrong. You're not such a bad guy after all. They're sorry for the inconvenience. They miss you. :)

ok. I'm being funny in my comments above. Sometimes communication is poor between departments in a store and you'll continue getting mail after they decide they don't love you anymore. LVBear is correct. Take advantage of the coupons, and stay away from the BJ tables. Be sure to make the copies!

I have had experience with this. After being trespassed and shortly later getting a free room and tournament offer from the same casino. I took them up on the offer, came with a friend, had copies of the offer on me, on my friend, in the car and at home.
Before I ever approached a blackjack table (was at a VP machine) a suit and security approached me and in an inpolite manner I was told that I was unwelcome and could be arrested. I pulled out a copy of the offer, gave it to him and just said, I thought this was your way of saying that you were sorry for how I was treated on my last vist. He looked a little pissed, took my invite, told me to stay where I was (like I am going anywhere with two goons almost attached to me)and left. He returned shortly and my 86 had turned into a backoff, I could stay but not play blackjack.
About 3 weeks after returning I was again trespassed, this time by certified mail.

It has not happened to me that way, but if I received any sort of certified/registerd letter from a casino, I'm not going to sign it or accept it. Until they can _prove_ that you are aware of being 86'ed, their hands are tied. Of course if you can't play BJ, there's maybe no good reason to go back, even if you can...
