If your loses acumulate to over 1000$ a month, you\ll get 10% back. The more you lose, the more you get back. I don`t know exact increments, but the most you get back is 25% after you lose 5000$ in any 1 month period. Think about pocketing chips, jumping from table to table or any other ways to mislead them. This casino, called Rt 66 near Albuqerq., NM has only low rollers. So if you bet like 50$ a hand you'll hear chex play...
Rules are: H17, DAS, RSA, 75%pen, no LS. But to take advantage of this, you'd really need to live in the area.
Reporting false losses will get you into trouble but you can take advantage of the 10% rebate without cheating.
Paradoxically, you should not necessarily play the game with the smallest house edge but the one with the greatest variance.Suddenly fluctuations become your friend. You should always bet maximum which is very low in this casino as I understand.Let's say it's $50 for any game. Here's how I would play this:
I would turn up the last day of the month and buy 20 50$-chips. Then I would pick a number at the roulette and play these 20 chips one by one until I hit.As soon as I hit I will leave the casino with a net win ranging from $1750 to $800 (weighted average 1350). If I never hit which is still the most likely outcome ((37/38)**20 =0.59)I will have reached the threshold for the rebate and I leave the casino as well, only to come back at the end of next month.
If we make a rough calculation (0.41*1350-0.59*900=20.5),we realize that we have a positive ev of $20. Not bad for a twenty minute session.
Thanx for supporting me here. Francis says that reporting false losses is cheating. Hmmmm. Do I fill out my rating slip? Ploppies don't even know what these are. What will they convince me from? Stealing my own chips? What if I go to the bathroom and after I get back I just won't pull all of them out of my pockets? BTW, limits on BJ are 500$, wheel is, I think 200$. Bob Dancer did sth.similar (see mil$ Video Poker- card in the machine and when he was dealt good hand, he just pulled it out and finished it.
Ratholing chips in order to get a rebate is probably best described as fraud which is a criminal offence.Calling this advantage play is an insult to all honest APs.Getting positive EV in a casino requires skills to be proud of but abusing of a naivly generous casino rule just requires an unscrupulous character.
I'm not a BJ player, so to say, yet. However, ratholing is NOT cheating. The casinos will slowly but surely use every method they can to prevent AP at a game they KNOW is beatable (even if the legality of it is questionable), so we should do the same. As an advantage player at other games, I know that ratholing may be the ONLY way to even get fair comps, let alone ones I don't deserve. IMHO, they have more tools and technology than I do, so it's on them to keep track of what I'm doing. If they don't, they must consider this an acceptable loss. Maybe there are some casinos out there that are crazy-generous with comps, but there are also some where I've spent 8 straight hours at the craps table and haven't been able to get a $5 meal comp for the deli, so all is fair in love and war.
Now, this is not to say that I will criticize anyone for choosing NOT to rathole... but I think it's an area that is left up to personal preferrence.
