Whether you win or not or have an advantage or not... it's still gambling because there is still a risk. A lot of compulsive gamblers call what they do "investing" to justify their gambling sickness and to enable their denial of said sickness.

This line alone could be the topic of endless hours of debate. I will, however, pass the opportunity by...I must head off to work now for another full day of 'gambling', and I am not even heading to the casinos.

By that definition, getting out of bed in the morning is gambling.
For the most part, advantage play, at least successful advantage play, requires entirely too much discipline for a compulsive gambler to have any success at it.
Besides, compulsive gamblers seem to enjoy losing. When they win, they immediately gamble it away.
