Does Foxwoods and Mohegan still offer a 6 deck game at low minimums? Also how is the penetration at these casinos?
I heard something about a $1 mandatory side bet at one of these places, can anybody tell me what that is all about?

at these casinos. There are $25 and up six deckers at Mohegan and $50 and up six deckers at Foxwoods. It's all standard blackjack, no sidebet.
Most games are eight deck s17 das late surrender with 1.5 deck cuts on average with $10 the lowest minimum you'll find...mostly $25 & up on weekends.
You never know conditions might be different. I don't expect any major changes but pen might be significantly altered. Table minimums may be different as well. The beauty of competition in the marketplace is that it forces casinos to try and lure the gamblers in by improving the quality of their games and comps.
Also, in posting a second time I am hoping maybe somebody who didnt see the question the first time will see it now and offer their 2 cents.

I remember a while back I was there on the weekend and played at both casinos. I recall $15 table minimums. Then again it was during the afternoon, they probably hike it to $25 during the evening hours.
