Face Up Two Decks

last sunday we went to bally casino,there only one table for 2decks and the bet is $25.00,the other tables are all 8decks and single deck.we noticed that 2decks table was shuffle by machine not by dealer, and the cards are face up, which is good, because itis very easy to count,but the way of card flow was so weired, when terry count very positive number, the face card still not showing enough or the face card only go to dealer,that night we loose almost $2000,it is very sad and depress. we don,t have any clue, what is going on? the only explaination is : cards are shuffled by machine.

A "Hand-Held Multideck Game". This is where you are usually playing against a 6 or 8 dech game, but each round the dealer only plays out 2 decks worth. You were using a 2 deck count and it was possible that you may have been playing a 6 deck game with less than 1/3 penetration. If such was the case, I imagine you were upping your bets while still at a disadvantage, although unknown to you.

Were there any signs that said "Hand-Held Multideck Game"? They often try to make this sign as obscure as possible.

don't increase your chances of winning any given hand. You're still going to lose more hands than you win in high counts. You get your edge by getting more blackjacks in high counts (and having a greater degree of success on your double down opportunities).

first, terry and I really appriciated all the nice advise from you guys.countinue last night question : when we play double deck at other casinos,always is hand shuffle and the cards alway is face down,but not at Bally's, the Bally's double deck is face up and is shuffled by the auto shuffle machine and we pretty sure only 2 decks inside the machine. But Why the card flow so weired? and why the cards are
face up not face down? after this bad exprience, we will never touch this kind table. I believe there is no cheating, but shuffle by the auto shuffle machine may be is not worth to play, what you guys think?

A face-up double decker dealt by machine is a faster game, which means more rounds per hour and more profit for the casino. It also reduces the penalty to the casino in loss of game speed if it is offering lousy penetration. In theory, it should also add to game protection from various kinds of cheaters. It also makes it easier for the eye to follow the game if they suspect a counter is in action.
