Re: ENHC
In European no hole card rule, suppose I have a pair of Aces and the dealer has an upcard 10. I split aces (which I think is correct play) and get two 10's. The dealer makes a blackjack later.
Yes, that is the correct play and it's the only time when it's correct to risk additional money (i.e. split or double) against a possible dealer blackjack with ENHC.
Does the dealer take away all my wagers, or is it a push? Thanks.
A blackjack is normally defined as a total of 21 on your first two cards. After splitting aces and drawing a ten (or splitting tens and drawing an ace) your hand counts as 21 and loses to a dealer blackjack. Check with the dealer of floorperson though.
