dumbest player comment and would you take ls or das at a game?

stupidest player comment i ever heard was while playing at the end of the game the dealer has 1 card left in the hand, and says wow look at that

new dealer taps off that dealer for a break and ass at 3rd base says real loud, "i hope you don't do what the last dealer did, .. had only 1 card left in .. hand!"

pit boss turns and looks and new dealer shrugs

3rd base could have gotten the dealer in big trouble and for sure hurt my game

i berated him to myself but in a fashion that i think he heard my anger at his comments, a loud mouth asshole he was

i also think i would take ls over das in some games, in fact i would take ls over doa and das in some games, as long as d-10-11 is offered
especially if you place larger bets

i do think that ls is a like an escape clause in a binding contract, while doa and das can be an invitation to further suck you in to possible ruination

I don't mind dumb players as much as dumb dealers.

I've had a hard 18 with a dealer holding an A,6 (S17 table rules) and had the dealer try to take a hit - which turned out to be an ace. I protested - and the pit boss ruled in my favor, but I was the only one who noticed.

I have had numerous dealers try to pay my bj off like a normal hand. In other words, two nickels in the circle and the dealer slides two nickels my way.

And I've had a push and had the dealer attempt to scoop my bet up.

But dumb players are trouble. One time at Casino Magic, I had a guy at 1st B tell me that he missed that hand because he was getting his drink and tipping the cocktail hostess, and asked what was the count? I looked it him and said "Count? I have no idea what you're talking about".

i gotta disagree about dumb deallers, they pay out too much as often as they try to rip u off.

ive had 17 against dealers 20, she called it a stand off

i had a blackjack with $5 out, got paid back $32.50

i won at 3rd base, the dealer payed me then re aranged his float while i took my winning, then he repayed me.

ive won with 2 X $2.50 chips out with a $5 chip on top, the dealer paid me $15

ive seen another player come very close to cashing in $400 worth of chips in return for $600

all this in the last few months

I don't really like 8 decks, so I asked the pit if there was a 6 deck game, he replied: "Oh, so you can't count 8 decks." Later that day, new store, I walk up to table and ask if it is a 6 or 8 deck shoe, a player says: "Oh, so you can't count 8 decks."

In both cases I suppose they were right 8-)

Obviously, I've run into the wrong dumb dealers.

Though they are about equal to the basic strategy player, late surrender is much preferable for the counter, if you have to choose.

A while back I was in a casino where the 6D shoe games were very crowded but the CSM's had some empty spots. I was talking with some PC's dealing to themselves on a closed table - I guess it was a training session for new dealers or something. There was one ploppy just sitting at the table that seemed to be a local.

Anyway, one PC asked me why I wasn't playing anything. I told him that the tables were full. He looked over at one uncrowded CSM table and pointed it out to me - even better that it was a $2 min table. So I responded with my usual excuse, "I've never won any money against those stupid machines and I'll never play them again."

Then out of nowhere, the ploppy at the table responds loud as hell, "NO, you don't want to play CSM's because you CAN'T COUNT THEM."

Then he starts to laugh maniacally at his own sheer genious.

My eyes just about popped out of my head. The PC's just chuckled and brushed it off but that was freaky. I was expecting the ploppy to leap onto the table, start to tap dance while his head spun around and correctly predict some keno numbers after that.

Being a dealer I know I and others make mistakes I have also had that feeling that I made a mistake and let it slide, So dont call me Dumb just cause every once in a while I get my mind going somewhere else and push your 17 when I have 19 or whatever. I cant stand stupid players who say then know and play BS and do stupid shit, way more then a dumb dealer cause if the dealer tries to short you you can call em on it and if they mess up and give you extra you can shutup. Also I would NEVER let a mistake slide if the player even looks at me wrong or any smartass comment, or has a lot of small chips w/no tips. I've also heard other dealers willing to "accidentally" hit a card when they shouldn't and try to change shoe. I know that crap doesn't work so I'll never try it.

1) Had big bet (for me) around 140 to 150. Get an A8 vs a 3 or something similiar. Count was very big. I am trying to decide whether to double. I put my chips out there like I am, then pull them back, then put them back out there then pull em back. I chicken out and don't. Dumb dealer busts and procedes to double my bet for me and then pay 2 more stacks for my original and my double down. 2) Another big bet but way smaller than first story. Gal hits her A210 with a 5, stares at it and turns over a 4 and says 22! "Table win!!!"

I player told me about sites online and I started looking for sites I ccant rememeber if it was this site he told me about or not but, I've learned how to count, and that pen. is good and no matter how nice I am not to expect a large tip, which is ok cause some people tip a lot, Its helped me make money dealing cause I've learned 50c tips are bad ev cause bj plays even. I've also became friends w/many players cause they realize I know what they are doing so w/o gambling myself I've got my name into the "circle of friends" that is around the casino's. I'm happy to have this site to read and learn from and enjoy playing but it wont ever be my main sourse of income but it makes the game much more fun.
