Does no hole card hurt card counters chances

Hi Guys

I play my blackjack in a casino where the dealer takes no hole card, but only takes the original bet in the case where he gets a blackjack. I have read that this setup does not hurt the card counters odds, but when I run simulations using qfits CVDATA I always get lower rates of return (12 to 20%) when I set it to "no hole card, dealer takes original bet only"

My question is what is your opionions, does this rule hurt the card counter?

This card eating argument applies only when the dealer has a Blackjack which happens only about every twentieth deal.And when the count is unfavorable the same card eating will work in the counter's favor.
When you are alone against the dealer the card consumption is probably smaller in a no hole card game since whenever you bust (or you have a natural) the dealer won't even have to take a second card.

BJT was trying to alleviate your concerns about the hole card rule by saying, if they also have the ES10 rule, it will make up for it.

In the NHC game, the dealer will deal his hole card only after all the players have finished with their hands. And if he has an Ace showing and gets a Ten, he scoops up all original bets (but pays in full the uninsured naturals). In a normal, non-NHC game whereby the dealer checks under Tens, when the dealer flips over a natural, no further cards are dealt.

Also, in the NHC game, if all the players' boxes bust, the dealer takes no hole card.

I can't run simulation. I only want to advise you usually no hole card casinos allow ES10 which make the game btter for counters.

This is broad, I don't think there is a definitve cancellation in expectation, I'm just trying to point out a possible difference.
