I realize counting is out the window with CSM's. However, does anyone know if Basic Strategy still works as far as playing hands to get the best advantage against the house?

Basic strategy should work just as well against a CSM as it does against a regularly shuffled and dealt game. In fact, it may even work a little better, since basic strategy is predicated on the off-the-top composition of the cards. That said, it is important to remember that basic strategy alone won't give you an advantage for any CSM game that I've ever heard of, barring special promotional rules.
