Several players here pointed out the flaw in Puiu's thinking. Since early surrender is an uncommon option these days, Puiu is in error.
However, I should point out that it isn't necessary to win at least 26% of your wagers for playing the hand to be superior to surrendering. Don't forget that the player could conceivably "push" a large percentage of hands, too. So, a player who wins only 20%, loses 20% and pushes the rest would still prefer playing over surrendering.
It's best to read Puiu's posts with a wary eye. He appears to enjoy causing trouble, at the expense of the truth. He's been doing it on these boards for years.
