Hi...
Say I have $3,000 to play at a $5 table (That would be a 1-12 spread - BTW, will that do?).
Now lets say I'm playing a 6-deck game (H17, DAS, DOA2, RA) with average pen. or sometimes even better than average (75%+)
Say I bet as follows...
TC:
1 or less - $5
2 - $10
3 - $25
4 - $50
5 - $60
Do I stand a chance of actually coming ahead in the long run with this much starting cash?
(Yes, I have my BS down cold and can count in my sleep - I've been doing my homework!)
Is my bankroll sufficient enough to play BlackJack ($5 table, of course)?
Is my betting spread sufficient per the true count?
This may be a question which takes time to answer and I'll understand if some of you chose not to think over the answer for me - I'm sure I could figure it out on my own over time. This place is so great it's too tempting for me to ask!
After slowly but surely spitting out $20 bills to the tables at my local casino, I have decided to actually invest rather than gamble (Note this was last year when I was a "gambler"). Now that I'm mentally ready for the game (After actually LEARNING about the game), I want to be sure I'm physically ready (Wondering about the financials and betting strategy described above).
Any replies to this would be extremely nice...
