Plaza,LV club and Calif.hotel had good DD are they still good?
A couple of weeks ago, I walked through the Vegas Club early over several mornings. The normal single and double deck tables were not open, but the "Most Liberal Rules in Las Vegas" tables were (blackjacks pay even money).
Those particular games are pretty much gone, but there are better games not too far away. Just keep your eyes open.
Downtown has really lost some good low-roller games in the past few years. The Western has dumped all but 1 of their SD tables as well as their $1 minimums (even the $3 mins are tougher to find). The Gold Spike got rid of their BJ tables completely. The Barrick casinos switched to DD shoes, then dropped some of the good rules and pen, now barely have any tables open during the day. I'm starting to think that they don't want us card counters there anymore! =)
