Easy: You're comparing much different RoR's
inquiry,
For example, let's assume you have a BR of $10,600. Using KO-Preferred on your game (DD, H17, DA2, DAS, RSA, 70% pen) with an optimal spread of 1:8 in quarters gives you a WR/hr of $75.87 and a RoR of 13.5% (full Kelly).
Now, if you keep the same $25-$200 spread but enter only at RC of +1 or greater, your WR/hr plunges to $53.06... but your RoR falls even more dramatically, to only 0.4%.
If you want to do an "apples-to-apples" comparison, instead of fixing your minimum bet to be $25 (which I did above to get these numbers, and iassume you did as well), uncheck the "Manually adjust minimum bet" box and instead set the "Risk of Ruin" box (under "Bankroll/Risk") to a Kelly factor of 1, and you'll see that now, your WR/hr soars to $146.44/hr, with a RoR of 13.5% (actually 13.4%... CVCX cannot always meet all of our requirements EXACTLY) and betting units of $69.
When you fix your bets to a schedule of $25-$200, the "play-all" approach has a higher WR/hr than does wonging due to the fact that you're playing a much larger number of hands per hour: 100 vs. about 29. However, many more of these "extra" 71 hands/hr are at -EV: that's why the RoR for play-all isso much higher than for wonging (for the same schedule).
Hope this helps... and glad to see you've recovered from your much-lamented demise ;-)
