Here is the system.I welcome reviews and testing, particularly by anyone wi sim software program.

This is set up for following rules: 6D, DAS, dealer stands on S17, double on any 2 cards, no re-split of aces, no surrender offered.

Begin IRC at 6 (do not have to deal with negative numbers)
Pivot Point 30
Insurance Point 29
Key Count 22
Exit shoe if count not at 14 after 3D, 9 after 2D, 4 after 1D.

Doubling Indices:

8/4 double at 35 or >
8/5 double at 30 or >
8/6 double at 25 or >
9/2 double at 22 or >
9/7 double at 29 or >
10/10 double at 29 or >
10/A double at 30 or >
11/A double at 24 or >

Soft Doubling Indices:

A8/5 double at 22 or >
A8/6 double at 22 or >

Hard Hands Indices:

12/2 hit unless 28 or >
12/3 hit unless 24 or >
12/4 stand unless 19 or <
12/5 stand unless 17 or <
12/6 stand unless 17 or <
13/2 stand unless 13 or <
13/3 stand unless 14 or <
14/10 hit unless 39 or >
15/10 hit unless 30 or >

All other plays per basic strategy for above mentioned conditions.

As I mentioned, I welcome review and suggestions.I would like some feedback, or better yet, some testing of the indice numbers.The system has performed very well so far, and is easy to use.

In case anyone needs them, the card values for KO are as follows:

If you can't find someone to run the simulation in the next few days, I'll run one for you (can't do it for a few days yet). I can run 300 million hands for you and run a side-by-side with Omega at the same time.

A custom KO system interests me because the standard version is so easy to use and there is NO TRUE COUNT CONVERSION. (I learned it in 2 days and counting is so easy). I gave up on it when I compared the return rate and dollar action required with the Omega Advanced (a system I started to learn much earlier and am continuing to practice regularly with - nearly ready - the true count conversion I'm using is a bit of a killer). The Omega system is also comprehensive, covering virtually all variations to rules of play, including under/over (no this is not an ad for Omega).

I also looked a briefly at a KO system which used TC conversion, but it kinds of defeats the purpose of using such a simple system.

I'd also be interested in how you arrived at these numbers! And how adaptable these numbers are to other rules of play (e.g. no DAS)? Also, will the numbers need to change for different size decks even after altering IRC. Also, how have you tested these numbers so far?? How do you plan to arrive at optimum figures for each index?

Alan, thank you for your response.I feel the same as you ref the appeal of the KO system, however, I felt it needed improvement, specifically in the addition of more indices.I do not feel the indices listed in the book are clearly laid out, and believe more indices are appropriate.The biggest appeal of this system is its ease of use.While other systems may have a slightly higher PE or BC, the fact is is that no matter who the player is or how skilled, there is more mistakes made with other systems, particularly the multi-level systems.I think that for the most part, these mistakes negate any advantage over a simpler system.

Some of the indices listed are included in Fuch's book.They are different numbers than mine due to my having moved the IRC from the books -20 to a 6.This makes the system much easier to play, one has no need to jump back and forth across the negative and positive line.The other indices were formed from indices from balanced systems..beginning with known variables (such as insurance point) and translating the unknowns from there.In my opinion, these 25 indices are plenty, and any more would be superfluous.In fact several of the indices in these 25 could probably be omitted, as they are so rarely if ever, encountered in normal play.

This system can be easily adapted to no DAS conditions, however, if changing the number of decks, as in going to 4D or 2D game, the indice numbers must be changed.The IRC would be also be changed, however the Key Count, Insurance Point, and Pivot Point would remain the same.

Finally, if in a game where surrender is offered, apply the following values: 15/9@29, 15/10@18, 15/A@24, 14/10@30.

This system has been profitable in play in 6D conditions.Before I move on to play with 4D, 2D, or 1D, I would like to insure that I am dead on with these indices.

I will have a analyzer soon, but not within 3 days.Please feel free to sim this at your leisure-I am anxious to see results.

Not to burst your bubble, because it appears you have put in work in customizing KO, but this has been done already by Dr. Org, a Green Chipper. I believe Dr. Org's charts, which have been customized for 1, 2, 6 and 8 decks, are located in the Green Chip archives. I think the good Dr. had posted them on the free pages, but they were removed (I may be incorrect in this assumption).

Anyway, just another reason to join Green Chip. FYI, I have been using Dr. Org's charts, and have gotten nice results so far.

Do you think there is any chance of getting these numbers on the free pages again?
