I'm sure you all know CSMs have invaded a few casinos here and there and possibly pose a threat to Advantage Play. Ofcourse, if there were anything we could do to stop it, we would. As I've read from other posts one of the best ways is to tell other gamblers(patrons) that CSM's are untrustworthy and will eliminate the advantage that a player has.
Anyway, I overheard the pit talking about posting a table limit of $10 to $500 as opposed to the usual $10 to $1000 making it harder for card counters.
To get to the real point, I asked my floorman why don't we have those CSMs? Aren't they suppose to recycle the cards so counters can't count? I asked in a curious dumb way pretending to be half as smart as I was. He said the main reason is due to superstitious gamblers. He stated "I know some people who don't even like machine shuffling period and would never play a game that had one. Gamblers just don't trust a machine. They like to see everything that is going on to assure them the game is fair. So it really isn't worth it." And that was pretty much all that he said and I agreed with him. I just hope all floormen think that way.
I guess just keep spreading the word to all who participate in gaming that CSM's are well what they are.
