The csm parasite seems to be infecting more and more casinos, however a question?
BS must be modeled on the proballity on what the next card dealt will be? and this can only be modeled on the basis of a virgin deck? reasoning that it cannot be taken into account all part dealt decks and discarded cards in all situations? therefore, is it true that the csm will play a more true game for BS considering that most of the cards are shuffled after one or two games?
Now, as a non counter, the casinos have put these vile contraptions in place for two reasons(comments)1.) to get out more hands per hour, I think this is the prime reason. 2.) to thwart counters, although having listened to conversations at the tables of several casions I suspect that 99.9% of people that play, play on instinct not counting and are social players and are no "threat" to the casino edge.
However, I suspect that the 99.9% of players do base their judgement on gut instinct, casual observation and general feel for the run of the deck (listen to the banter at the table)and the csm really destroys the essence of the game in this respect, almost randomising every hand and taking away from the player the excitment of using the "skill" & judgement that comes from the flow of a shoe game and the "knowing" the cards are stacked for or against you (loosely).
I have decided that the main reason for the csm is to take the punters money away from him at a faster rate (while taking the character away from the play)and I for one have made the decsion not to play where these things are plugged in.
