counting with shuffle machines

Hi, could my idea work.
I live in the uk and all my casinos use shufflr machines which i have read cannot be counted, fair enough, But i had an idea.

In my casinos you can bet behind ppl that is if the table is full (they always are)you can stand behind them and place bets on there spot behind there chips (as many spots as you like).

Now heres the thing i have noticed a lot of dealers wait untill 2-3 have been dealt before putting them back in machine .

So would it be possible to stand behind a good player keeping a count untill it is up then bet behind in the small window of 2-3 decks before he puts them back in machine.

I depends mainly on how many cards sit in the discard tray before they get reinserted back into the machine. Though even with a full table worth of cards set into the discard tray three rounds, the pen is still bad.

I would not suggest you betting at a full table on someone else's circle. The person who controls the circle also ultimately has the right to make the play decisions. I wouldn't want to get into an argument about how to properly play a soft 18 or pair of 4's against a 5

If you are going to play CSM's, you need to find tables that are almost full, so you can get some degree of back-counting pen before moving in with a +1 or more bet. I also suggest to never sit and to stay on the move because as cards go back into the machine your count gets watered down and becomes worthless. I move to another table one to two hands after I know that a slug of small cards gets inserted back to the machine. Or of course, if the count tanks.

The highest true count I have ever played on a CSM was +5. I can't imagine finding a situation better than that. Just figure that about 99% of your play will be between +1 and +3. There is no reason to be playing if the count is not at least +1. Just stay on the move. Your act is that of a "table hopper".

You need also to know how many decks are in the CSM. Some have 5 and some have 4. The casino I play sometimes has 4, which isn't too bad.

If you constantly stay on the move and table hope / back count, you may be able to make a few bucks. Also back-count the tables more often where the dealer leaves more cards in the tray. That dealer is giving you more pen.

Ultimately though, I suggest you travel to find some greener pasture.

If it's really 2 - 3 decks, it's much more playable for a profit than 2 - 3 rounds of delt cards to a full table. You can make this a decent game if you can keep from playing in negative situations and when your count gets compromised by having the discards shuffled back into the pack. However, it is my belief that a certain amount of cards are always in the nose of the CSM and in front of the shuffle process. It may be as much as a half deck. If this is so, that would mean your count wouldn't be compromised until after that half deck in the nose gets delt.

You also have to know how many decks are being used. You have to know this for your proper true count conversion. I assume it is either 4 or 5.

Remember, don't sit down. You can't stay long at any given table anyway before the count gets compromised. Sometimes the count tanks immediatelly after the first bet. That is when you just happen to have a desire for a "table hop moment". Don't come back and back-count that same table again for at least several minutes. When casing the tables and back-counting, don't be obvious. You can merely just walk buy. Don't even stop to count unless you see a lot of junk cards on the table. If on your first glance at a table, you notice a lot of "paint" on the felt, just move on. You don't even need to count it up.
