I think that is correct. n is the number of hands (in your case 2), and V is the variance according to the above criteria. Go to bjstats.com to find the specific variance you want. Usually the figure is between 1.13 and 1.3.

I gave you a formula that is missing a critical number.
CV = σn + .5n(n-1)
From T.O.B. Griffin uses 1.29(2) + .5(2)(2-1) for the covariance of two hands of bj.

SBA gives the correlation coefficient for multiple hands. It will vary based on rules, conditions, true count. BJRM lets you enter one from a range when figuring optimal bets for multiple hands.

IMO, the covariance is the 0.5n(n-1) term (only)
2V + 0.5n(n-1) is the total variance of the round.
Does that make sense ?
