Continuous shuffling machines

A Casino near by has a 6 deck game, (great rules) but they use a CSM.
Approx 1-2 decks worth of used cards are put in the discard tray then added back into the CSM.
Should blackjack be avoided there?

I have basic strat down pat, and can count with the HiLo system.
I'm lacking experience and unsure what to think of the CSM.

Sounds like a fake single or fake double deck game. If they are using one six-deck pack of cards and no other pack of a different color, and hand dealing a slug the size of a single deck or double deck of cards face down like a pitch game, that's what you've got.

It's intended to look like a hand held pitch game with great rules.

You are only getting penetration of somewhere between 10 to 30 percent. Counting in such shallow pen is futile.

Unless the game has extrordinarily good rules that would make this a positive expectation game just using basic strategy (which I strongly doubt), stay far away.
