this is a table with a COver shoe with wire to connect to central computer and a Cover on the shoe. A computer and a scanner to CEHCK how much chips are playing ( up to 32) . so they could find out people count cards.

the dealer would swipe players card on the table. and the Chips Scanner would track the playing record for Rating by itself.

a LCD right next to the Dealer shows more information.

the discard trap is under the table. dealer would insert used cards into it. since the SHOE has Cover and you cannot see the discard trap. It is hard to know how many decks have benn play.

it looks so modern and technetronic.

You might be referring to MindPlay or one of its clones. MindPlay, first installed at Reno Eldorado, has been discredited as an expensive farce. Only a few gullible suckers among casino managers have bought it. It is worthless at detecting AP's who use common sense.

MindPlay's original primary purpose was to cheat patrons through computer-managed preferential shuffling, but after being sued for refusing to do its job, the Nevada Gaming Control Board finally took the minimal action to make the cheating more difficult.

Record all players Bet and Give Average Bet. No Need Floor Person for track the players bet.

and if it is still using RFID, it has a big hole that can be further exploited, as per discussions on Arnold's "players only" forum last year... :)
