While at my local casino I heard a rumor that the Chip Inn near Escanaba MI had a sign posted on their door that they were closed. I can't find any info about this. I called the casino and they denied be closed, but then she acknowledged that others were calling asking the same thing. Does anyone know if they closed for a day or two. Are they in bankruptcy?

Last time I was there last summer the place was almost empty, rotten BJ and VP.
As you know it is new, very nice, and a very large investment for that tribe. I would be surprised if they are not in trouble financially. It has been written in newspapers of late that the new and most beautiful Turtle Creek Casino cannot meet their mortgage payments on their new casino.
Maybe I will see you in a few days at the Malo place. :)
