Celebrity sightings?

Have played along-side James Brown and his wife at Ballys, Natalie Cole at Ceasars, and Cecil Fielder ( player ) and Buddy Bell ( manager ) at the Desert Inn. Fielder kept following me around--the count went south a few times, and he must have either been superstitious ( because I was winning ) or fed up with Buddy because he did'nt have a clue about basic Strategy.

Have seen many entertainment and sports celebs throughout the sports books and casinos of America. Heck, one time I was playing at the Mirage and " out-wonged " the master himself--( it seems that age has taken a bit of a toll :-) )

I played ball in an instructional league down in Florida years ago. The club was affiliated with the Cincinatti Reds chain and Pete was always hanging around shooting the breeze with anyone who would engage him during spring training--a totally down to earth and solid guy. The man was sunk by one of the most pompous asses of all time, a Yale " high brow " who didn't know a baseball from his own dick--one Bartlett Giametti.

Bobby Wade had a band, Bobby Wade & The Emperors, that were the house band at Caesars Palace. The whole band consisted of the Imperials without Little Anthony. My friends and I called them the Imatemptations because they wore like colored suits and did the typical motown routine. All are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I became friends with Bobby on one trip, and about six months later, on my next trip, he remembered that I like Remy Martin XO Cognac neat in a whiskey glass, and sent me said drink to my table. A week later, I saw him on national TV on a special, Dick Clark's American Bandstand Reunion where Little Anthony and the Imperials were reunited.

A few years back, I was visiting Biloxi alone, and saw that Jerry Reed was performing at the Grand Casino. Late that night, I was at the Grand, and saw Jerry playing third base at one of the high roller's blackjack tables. When I noticed that the minimum bet at the table was $50, and first base was open, well, I couldn't pass it up. After a few rounds, I got two naturals in a row. I blurted out, "When you're hot, you're hot!" Jerry, who was losing, replied dryly, "When you're not, you're not." So, I guess you could say that Jerry Reed and I did a song together.

a porn star at MGM. Don't remember her name but would recognize her chest anywhere.

Played with Jimi Hendrix' drummer at a singledeck game at Circus two years ago. Ran into Howie Mandel on the floor at Bally's. He looked like a deer caught in the headlights when he realised I recognised him. He was lucky. I was the last person on earth who might do something that would embarrass him.

I was at Mirage about two and a half months ago playing some black. Ben Affleck was at the table beside me and golfer Phil Mickelson was at the table beside him. Also played some BJ about two years ago with Robert Horry of the LA Lakers at MGM. He has to be about 90 feet tall.

I need a publicity agent.

While playing in one of the high end rooms at Foxwoods, I noticed the floor pit staring over my shoulder. I turned around and standing just a few feet away was James Wood, the movie star. I said "hello" to him and he came over and shook my hand. We spoke for a few moments while he waited for a friend to join him. He then went into a private bj room to resume his play. This happened within the last two months. BoSox

but I could have sworn I saw MathProf's debonair figure on his way into the super VIP, extra private highroller room at Bellagio. Couple stunners on either arm (sequence trackers in disguise no doubt), racks of yellow and chocolate, Louis XIV in hand, the casino's worse nightmare was on the move.

the NFL receiver, can be seen quite often in the southern venues. I've seen him several times, and I'm told he has 7 figure lines of credit at several places. Dealers & critters tell me he is really a nice guy although I've never personally spoken to him.

I hope he gets help with his addiction soon. Makes me ill to see how his "friends" are working so hard to break him while being so nice to his face. The casinos won't give him the time of day after they break him even though he is giving them millions now.

I have also met Jack Binion in HS and seen several apparent celebs (dress, jewelry, entourage, private guarded table, etc) that I didn't know or attempt to find out who they were.

First or 2nd week of August, Paul Simon was playing there, early grave, I have played on the same BJ table with Timothy Hutton, Phil Bourque (hockey), Dominique Wilkins, Jack Haley (OK, so just being a Laker doesn't make you a celeb?). Saw Pamela Anderson in there with Kid Rock (Can she pick 'em, or what!!)and Keanu Reeves is a HR regular. Missed seeing Ben Affleck, but his HR win was reported on this site BEFORE People Magazine ran it....

And afterwards invited him back to my hotel room. But I fainted when I put my hand down his trousers.

is nice. He shouted me canapes (I was a stranger to him) in a bar at Star City. He was smoking a cigar the aroma of which was far superior to any incense I have come across. The people he was with were sucking up to him so bad. He had a very shrill, polite voice. His gambling technique? Put $50 on the pass line. I didn't hang around to see how he went.
