Is there anyway of knowing if a casino actually uses 6 legit decks in a 6D shoe game? Is it just blind faith that they don't replace some high value cards with lower valued ones? I play the 6D game and it has crossed my mind more than once. I'm in Illinois and I'm curious if the gaming board audits the shoes ever. What are the checks and balances? Thanks.
I don't know about where you play, but where I play they change the cards with amazing frequency....
Some very knowledgeable players have alleged they were cheated; however, it is tough for me to envision a scenario where it makes the slightest sense for a casino to even think about cheating in this day & age....
With a CSM machine (6 decks), I have seen a 10 card be removed for more than 1/2 hour (the card was defect).
only one 10 card shoud not change things ,but 1/2 hour it's very long for replacing only one card... isn't it ?
where the regulators are in collusion with the casinos...
where the culture of that region has been anchored in bribery and corruption for decades...
where the customers are foreigners with little or no voice or forum...
where the customers are seen as rich and therefore deserving to be fleeced...
where the customers are mostly ploppies who think they are merely unlucky...
where the customers who are counters think that they're merely in one of those damn 4 SD swings that are a natural part of life...
Now envision a scenario where a casino in these circumstances would not cheat.

before putting them in the shoe. I would guess all the indy and illinois casinos do this. If you like you can watch them open a table and then play only that one all day. Lots of checks and balances, just watch them open and close a table sometime.

My pretty close guess is that the removal of one ten from a 6 deck game will add about one tenth of one percent to the house advantage.

there must be substance to a susspicion. casinos don't cheat because they have the edge, and they make big profits. not to be risked by slipping an axtra 5 in the pack. if they don't get closed down they will lose their customer base.
answer to your question, sit there and count the 4,5,6, and see if there are more than normal, or less 10,A than normal.

I suspect some dealer to cheat but until know I'm unable to prove
something, I don't thing this is the way used by the casino
for cheating but all is possible....

when there are cards that have to be replaced, they will always do this immediately. The cards that have to be replaced are placed on the table and until these have been replaced there is no playing.
