Burn Card Question
Howdy,
I'm wondering how to treat the first card the dealer burns after a shuffle. When I was in Atlantic City this week, I noticed that you could ask to see it. But when the guy sitting next to me did, the dealer started cutting an extra 1/2 deck or so off after the next shuffle. It seems more advantageous to have the better penetration than to see the burn card, but i'm wondering how people handle the +/- 1 that the count could be off by not seeing the first card out of the shoe. Any help? thanks.
