Brh systems?

Lately I have considered purchasing the playing systems developed by Dr. Brett Harris, but I am not sure if they are currently available, nor am I sure if they are worth the price tag they carry. However he seems quite the true revolutionary in blackjack with his devising of the unbalanced true count and other system analyses. Ironically though I have yet to see the scores or test results of BC,PE, and IC for his own specially created systems and hence have reason to maybe question their efficiency or should I say reliability in usage, although I doubt this be true.

Well, I guess I would first need to know if they are still available and from where they,(the Brh systems) report can be purchased from, and second I ask if they are worth the price tag, as they are quite expensive.

Lastly, if they are not available commercially what would be a system of comparable power, and efficiency at a moderate cost which could adequately substitute for this unfortunate occurance?

Brett is something of a genius, and has developed some good systems. If you currently are not familiar with a count system, then his are among the best methods available and worth the minimal price.

However, all responsible count systems perform very close to each other in terms of earning power over any short period, and it generally is not worthwhile learning more than one system.

His level 2 system is as good as ao2 or ho2,inexpensive with all the information you will need.

I use his Brh-I True Count version and am very happy with it. It's similar to Wong Halves, but doesn't give a value to the nine. Therefore it is an unbalanced count. One advantage to the system is that it comes complete with extensive, optimal bet spread tables for all the different games, 2 deck, one deck, six deck, H17, S17 etc. Every other system I know of needs BJRM to calculate optimal bet spreads.

Here's why it's not really expensive: If you go with Hi Lo, your tables will be for 4 deck games, rather than specifically for 2 or 6 decks (if you use Wong's Professional Blackjack). Also, to figure your optimal bet ramps, with any other system, you'll need to get BJRM software, but with Brh, he has extensive tables covering all situations.
