I use halves count for normal BJ. On my annual Vegas trip in November, I encountered BJ Switch. Lot of fun!
Other than the above link, I know nothing about Basic or a Count strategy for this game.
Anyone know of other info on this?
Opinions on BJ Switch? I saw from my recent CNJN that it has the best odds (at .18 against, I think).

The basic strategy for the game of Blackjack Switch which appears on the Wizard of Odds website is probably as accurate as you will find anywhere. This game is offered at the Great Blue Heron Indian Casino about 60 miles northeast of Toronto but they use a one2six Continuous Shuffling Machine. If anyone knows where the game is played with an advantageously placed cut card, I'd be more than pleased to know where it is.
The .18 version of the game is disappearing. It is being replaced with a version where a "switched blackjack" is not paid right away, and could push to a dealer 21 or 22. The house edge on this game puts it more in line with the standard 6 deck game.

If the 0.18 has you getting paid with a switched 21, then the CBJN (9/09)is wrong. The game at Encore only paid "natural" 21s, and yes, you did tie with switched BJ's & dealer 21 & 22 (although one time the dealer paid off on her 22 as if she had broken).
From Wizard of Odds:
Default: House edge of 0.58%
Casino Royale: The house edge is 0.18% with eight decks and 0.16% with six decks.
The Default game treats a switched BJ as 21 points. The other game (Casino Royale and a few others) treat it as a blackjack.
Note: I believe the Casino Royal game now uses CSM.
