I wrote a blackjack strategy teacher program just on the WEB.
The site is sterlperl.com. The site teaches basic strategy
with negative feedback, in other words it will prompt the
user with a row from a decision table when an incorrect decision
is made. Check it out and tell me what you think. The game
will allow you to play certain situations which rarely occur
in regular play. It will allow you to practice hard totals,
soft total, split totals as well as just play a regular game.
I wrote this for myself since I play only a few times a year
and do not have all of the decisions down pat. It really helps.
Instead of memorizing a table you just play until there are
no wrong decision tables printed out.
When I tried it out over my 56k line it seemed pretty slow.
I think this is due to the upload/output speed of my ISP.
I had a friend of mine check it out with his DSL and he said
there was less than a second between each display.
