can anyone recommend websites or books for strategies regarding a game i've seen: blackjack attack? players play against each other, attempting to be the closest to 21. no house involvement. it seems the taking might be better in this situation than against the house? player with the best hand wins the pot. deal is passed around the table.
Arizona casinos. They have or at least had a law a few years ago that you could not gamble against the house, except for the slot machines. Personally I thought it sucked and would rather play blackjack.
indeed, it's better against the house but against silly 'zonans i would think a counter has a serious advantage. has anyone statistically evaluated the game? i saw another name for this game today call "21 poker".
So what happens when a player busts or goes over 21?
if a player goes over 21, he is out of the round. once a player stands, he stuck with the hand.
Since the other guys have to play their hands first (and risk busting first).
Would it be wise to say that one should bet more when the deal puts him as the last player to receive cards?
the bet is fixed per hand. you can double and split. indeed the last seat is the optimum position but if a player gets blackjack on the deal, he takes the pot. if two players get blackjack, the pot rolls over. the "last seat" circulates around the table, changing each hand.
